Paige Anderson is one of the co-founders and directors of the Coastal thrive Dance Festival. she is a lifelong dancer, choreographer, coach, and multi-passionate entrepreneur who brings a wealth of experience from both the performing arts and professional business world.
Paige began dancing at the age of three, with a strong foundation in classical ballet, completing examinations in both the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Cecchetti methods. Throughout her youth, she furthered her training at some of Canada’s most respected dance institutions, including the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Alberta Ballet, and the National Ice Dance Centre.
In addition to her ballet background, Paige trained extensively in jazz, modern, musical theatre, ballroom, and figure skating. As a competitive ice dancer, she reached 7th place nationally with her partner and later served as Head Coachof the Powell River Skating Club for eight years. She is a National Level 3 Certified Coach and IDTS Certified (International Dance Teaching Standards) instructor.
Her choreography and teaching have spanned both the dance and skating worlds, working with athletes and performers at the provincial and national level, as well as producing and choreographing ice shows, dance recitals, musicals, and opening ceremonies.
In 2014, Paige became the proud owner and director of Laszlo Tamasik Dance Academy. Under her leadership, the academy has grown into a vibrant and inclusive studio, known for providing exceptional training and creative opportunities for dancers of all levels. Paige was the artistic director of the Laszlo Tamasik dance Academy for 10 years.
Alongside her work in the arts, Paige is also a licensed real estate agent, bringing the same passion, professionalism, and community-minded spirit to her clients in the property market. Her ability to balance multiple roles with dedication and heart is a testament to her drive and love for helping people thrive—both on and off the stage.
The Coastal Thrive Dance Festival is an extension of Paige’s lifelong vision: to create a supportive, empowering, and inspiring space for dancers to grow, perform, and celebrate their artistry in a professional and encouraging environment.
